Latin American Studies at the University of Arizona offers a wide variety of courses and encourages close relationshipspicture of students attending a Border Studies class between faculty, staff, undergraduate, and graduate students.
Students have found our interdisciplinary liberal arts program, with emphasis on community engagement, foreign language acquisition, and international relations, to be excellent preparation for a variety of careers. Graduates have gone on to become lawyers, physicians, politicians, journalists, academics, artists and humanitarian aid workers, just to name a few.
