MA Philosophy
Philosophy offered by the University of Arizona is intended both for students interested in enhancing their qualifications for admission to other graduate programs (such as Ph.D. programs in philosophy or J.D. programs at law schools) as well as for students interested in an additional year of philosophical study but without any plans for future academic work.

As one of the nation’s premier centers for original philosophical research, the Department is the academic home to a wonderfully dynamic and engaged community of students in daily interaction with a faculty of world-renowned philosophers with this Philosophy degree offered by the University of Arizona.
Courses include:
- Metaphysics or Epistemology
- Ethics, Political Philosophy, or Value theory
- History of Philosophy
- Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Mind or Cognitive Science.
