The Pharmacology and Toxicology at University of Arizona does not admit students with the expressed interest in pursuing the M.S. degree. However, for a variety of reasons students admitted to the Ph.D. Program may choose to complete an M.S. degree (non-thesis option) either alongside or in lieu of a Ph.D. degree.

The College of Pharmacy offers a graduate program leading to a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology at University of Arizona

Over twenty faculty participate in the program. Faculty research interests are in various areas of pharmacology (including cell signaling, G-protein receptors, chemotherapeutics, pharmacogenomics), toxicology (including hepatic, renal, pulmonary, neurotoxicity; metal toxicity, environmental toxicity, carcinogenesis), molecular pharmacology/toxicology, and drug development.
